| To open a simple keyboard layout file (one with a “.keylayout” extension), you can simply double-click it in the Finder. Alternatively, you can drag the file onto the Ukelele icon in the Finder or the dock. Again, you can launch Ukelele and then choose “Open…” from the File menu to get an open file dialog to open the keyboard layout file. |
